Basil Grapefruit Smoothie
  • 1/2medium sized grapefruitPeeled and seeded
  • 1medium sized Orangejuiced (can sub 1/4 – 1/2 cup of good quality orange juice)
  • 1medium sized Medjool Date, pitted and soaked(can sub 1 tablespoon of honey or other sweetener)
  • 4-5 basil leaves
  • 1/2cup fresh or frozen raspberries(can sub strawberries or other desired berry)
  • 1/2cup filtered water(add more or less depending on desired thickness)
  • 1/2medium sized Banana(optional but recommended if adding our PureFood Trio or if you’re wanting a sweeter smoothie)
  • 1/4inch grated ginger
  • 1tablespoon PureFood A to Zoptional
  • 1 scoop PureFood Boptional
  • 1scoop PureFood Coptional
  1. Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender.
  2. Add more water or ice until your desired thickness is reached.
  3. Pour in a glass and add extra ginger, basil leaves or a squirt of lemon juice on top for extra flavour. Enjoy!
