Who knew a tea so delicious could help you snooze? Sip on our natural sleep remedy tea tonic and feel the resting qualities of passionflower, chamomile and lavender.
Passion Flower Herbal Tea has been used traditionally for many years to aid sleep because it has a calming effect. Passionflower increases the production of GABA, a brain chemical that works to inhibit other brain chemicals that induce stress.1 A study has noted that participates who drank passionflower tea had better sleep quality then when they didn’t drink it.2
Chamomile Chamomile has a reputation as a natural aid for insomnia and has been used for a long time to improve sleep quality.3,4
Lavender is known to have a mild calming and sedative effect.5
Almonds and tart cherries are a good source of an amino acid called tryptophan that produces two key neurotransmitters, melatonin and serotonin. Melatonin helps regulate your circadian rhythm, which is your body’s internal clock that keeps the daily rhythm for your sleep wake cycle.
To learn more about how to support your body’s natural circadian rhythm through food and your metabolism, we encourage you to read our eBook ‘Master Your Metabolism’.
