Wild Nutrition Elixir
  • 1cup Wild Chaga Mushroom tea, cooledWe used Chaga Tea cuts from Giddy Yo
  • 1/2medium sized CucumberEnglish style, chopped lightly
  • 1/2medium sized Lemon
  • 1teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1pinch mountain/Himalayan salt
  • 1teaspoon PureFood A to ZNutritional booster with 120% daily value of absorbable Vitamin D
  1. Prepare Wild Chaga mushroom tea by decocting 2 tsp of tea cuts into 2 cups of water.
  2. Bring to a boil and then quickly bring to a simmer with a lid on your pot for min 10 minutes.
  3. Strain and let cool. You can make bigger batches and store in a glass container in the fridge for up to three days and add to smoothies or drink it straight up. 1-2 teaspoons is recommended for each serving.
  4. Chaga tea cuts can be re-brewed several times until they lose color.
  5. In a high speed blender, blend cucumber with cooled wild chaga mushroom tea. If still hot, add some ice. It should be at room temperature or a bit cooler.
  6. Add lemon, salt, maple syrup and PureFood A to Z to blender and lightly combine. Enjoy!
