Black tea, fresh ginger and bubbly kombucha. The perfect summer drink for you and your friends this summer. Not to mention the health benefits that black tea and fresh ginger contain! For example, black tea has shown to have cancer preventative qualities, and fresh ginger contains on average, at least 14 different bioactive nutrients with unique health promotion qualities.1,2  So, this Mocktail is sure to give you a healthy buzz!

Main Ingredients
  • 1 cup Tea, 2 x black tea bags or sub Rooibos for a herbal non-caffeinated version
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, zested
  • 1/2 cup Lemon, freshly squeezed
  • 2 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 1 pinch mountain/Himalayan salt
  • 750 ml Kombucha, Plain or ginger flavour suggested
  • 2 cups ice
Optional Nutritional Boosters
  • 1 teaspoon PureFood A to Z
  • 1 Scoop PureFood B
  • 1 Scoop PureFood C
  • 1 Scoop PureFood Iron

Instructions
  1. Brew tea and let cool.
  2. Combine tea, ginger, lemon, maple syrup, salt to a jug and whisk/blend together.
  3. Add in Nutritional Boosters, if desired. Blend gently.
  4. Fill your favourite glass with ice.
  5. Fill glass ¾ full with tea mixture. Top up glass with kombucha, garnish with fresh lemon, bottoms up! Enjoy.
  6. To get the most nutritional impact/benefit, enjoy immediately
