Stay rooted smoothie

We dug deep to give you a root vegetable smoothie that really delivers. So veg out, and skip the sugar crash with this root garden, in a glass.  ????

The healthy deets: This balanced smoothie of vegetables with minimal fruits will not spike your blood sugar like juiced vegetables because the fibre is intact. This blended beverage also contains lemon, hemp and cinnamon which will moderate your blood sugar levels. The addition of the hemp seeds will provide a rich source of plant-based protein which will keep you satiated for a longer period of time. Ginger is a wonderful root vegetable which will add a little kick to your drink while stimulating blood flow, waking your body faster in the morning and aids digestion.

  • 1 small apple
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 1 small beet
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1/2 Cup Hemp Seeds
  • 1 Medjool date
  • 1/2 inch ginger
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 1- 1 1/2 cups water or coconut water
  • 1 heaping teaspoon PureFood A to Z
  • 1 scoop PureFood B add more if you need more energy!
  • 1 scoop PureFood C
  • 1/4 cup ice optional

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients except PureFood nutritional supplements to a high speed blender and blend on high for 30 seconds or until you reach desired texture.
  2. Add in Pranin Organic PureFood nutritional supplements and blend lightly.
  3. Stay rooted, and enjoy!
