Stoke Your Fire Elixir

Need some help stoking your inner fire so you can better transition into fall and winter? Or you may need this health shot on a cold spring or summer morning.

This elixir is a tasty, simple and effective way to light up and keep your inner fire going. It’s a well-balanced drink with alkalizing foods to support optimal health and assist with ridding toxins out of the body.  Cilantro, lemon and cucumber help with this.1 We’ve paired it with warming foods, technically called thermogenic ‘birth of heat’ foods like cayenne and ginger.2 Thermogenic foods are great in getting your metabolism going which is like your bodies stove/oven. Stoking your fire will help with many aspects of health, like burning fat, increase energy output, stimulates your central nervous system and increases blood flow to name a few.2

Some other fun facts about the food benefits in this recipe is cilantro, it is known as an antiviral and anti-fungal as well a powerful antioxidant.3 Ginger is also a very powerful antioxidant and antimicrobial, that’s just a few of it’s diverse benefits.4
