INGREDIENTS (20 servings)
- 20 organic apples (Cortland, Macintosh, Fuji or any softer varieties)
- 1 tbsp organic cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/3 cup organic lemon juice
- 3-4 cups filtered water
DIRECTIONS
First wash and chop the apples, then combine them with water and lemon juice in a large pot. Boil and reduce to a simmer. Add spices and let simmer for 20 minutes or until pieces are soft. Blend with a handheld blender or use a potato masher. Serve warm or let cool and store in glass sealable containers in your refrigerator.
