Chai Chia Smoothie

Chai cold or hot, summer or winter, I think most of us can agree, it’s a tasty treat! The spices in this smoothie have a warming quality which is great for cold summer mornings or transitioning into fall and winter.

Ginger is a wonderfully warming herb with many health-promoting benefits like supporting blood circulation, is a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and has antiseptic qualities to name a few.1 Cinnamon is also a warming herb and helps with blood sugar regulation.2

Core Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Hemp Seeds
  • 1 banana Banana, ripe, frozen
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean powder or extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon, ground (true cinnamon, if possible)
  • 1/4-1/2 inches Ginger, root, fresh and tender
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cardamom, powder/ground
  • 1/8 teaspoon Cloves, powder/ground
  • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds
  • 1/4 tablespoon Cacao, raw, powder
  • 1/4 medium sized Avocado, ripe
  • 1-2 medium sized Medjool Dates, pitted
  • 1 cup Water, filtered
Optional Nutritional Boosters
  • 1 teaspoon PureFood A to Z
  • 1 scoop PureFood B
  • 1 scoop PureFood C
Toppings
  • 1 tablespoon Cacao Nibs
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut shavings

Instructions
  1. Add all main ingredients in a high-speed blender, except nutritional boosters, blend until smooth.
  2. Add in nutritional boosters, blend gently.
  3. Bottoms up! Enjoy. To get the most nutritional impact/benefit, enjoy immediately.
