Crabtree Smoothie

This smoothie recipe is a little more special than the others you’ll find on our website, this is because it was created with a little extra love and intention.

You see, every 3-4 months Pranin Organic’s head office team goes to Crabtree Corner Community to serve up this very smoothie to the women and children at this hub. Crabtree is a safe, holistic resource centre that helps marginalized women and families living in the Downtown Eastside in Vancouver, BC. They provide many healing services and programs; everything from safe and affordable transitional housing, hot meal programs, single mother support groups, an award winning FASD sacred circle for mom’s and so much more! The Crabtree family truly focuses on healing and supporting spiritually, mentally and physically. We’ve been lucky enough to meet some women that do the ground level work, and they’re doing spectacular things.

  • 1 cup mixed berries frozen
  • 1/2 cup Hemp Seeds
  • 1 medium sized apple core removed
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 medium sized Medjool date pitted
  • 1/2 medium sized Banana frozen
  • 2 cups filtered water
Nutritional Boosters
  • 1 teaspoon PureFood A to Z
  • 1 scoop PureFood B
  • 1 scoop PureFood C

  • 1 cup mixed berries frozen

  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
  • 1 medium sized Medjool date pitted
  • 1/2 medium sized Banana frozen
  • 2 cups filtered water
Nutritional Boosters
  • 1 teaspoon PureFood A to Z
  • 1 scoop PureFood B
  • 1 scoop PureFood C

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients (not the nutritional powders) to a high speed blender.
  2. Blend until smooth. Add nutritional boosters, blend on low-medium until combined. 
  3. Enjoy!
