Love up your liver smoothie

Liver detoxification is crucial in preventing disease and illness.1 Plant foods like burdock root, 2,3,4 dandelion root 5 and beets are extremely beneficial to the liver.6 

By blending up various medicinal plant foods with staples you might already have in your fridge, you’re able to give your liver the antioxidants, anti-inflammatory’s and other remedial compounds needed to detoxify and stay healthy!

Main ingredients
  • 1-2 cups non-dairy milk of choice
  • 1 medium sized Banana
  • 1 cup baby greens mix
  • 1/4-1/2 cup raw beet shredded
  • 1/4 cup dandelion root tea chilled
  • 1-2 inches fresh burdock root shave bark off
  • 1/4 medium sized Avocado
Additional medicinal herbs (optional)
  • 1/4-1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 inch knob of fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon raw cacao powder
Nutritional Booster Powders
  • 1 heaping teaspoon PureFood A to Z
  • 1 scoop PureFood B
  • 1 scoop PureFood C
  • 1 scoop PureFood Iron (only add this mineral boosting powder if you are anemic or iron deficient)

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a high speed blender, blend until smooth.
  2. Add in filtered water for desired consistency and adjust sweetness based on your taste.
  3. Enjoy! Drink daily for 7 days for a week long whole food liver reset.
