Orange Carrot Mango Elixir

Move over green health drinks, there’s a new orange elixir in town and it’s planning on stealing the show.

Packed with health in a cup, this Orange Carrot Mango Elixir is an easy way to mix up your smoothie game and pack in a lot of vitamins and minerals! I also love the perfect balance between sweetness from the mango and spice from the turmeric and ginger, I found this drink to be MEGA refreshing and tasty.

I love recipes that include turmeric, it’s the ultimate superfood in my eyes. Turmeric is a powerful antioxidant and is anti-inflammatory (great for post barre class!). Along with the turmeric, this recipe combines ginger (another powerful healing food) and lemon! Talk about immune boosting eh?

  • 1 medium sized Orange
  • 1/2 medium sized Lemon
  • 1/2 cup Mango fresh or frozen
  • 1 large carrot washed or peeled
  • 1 nub Fresh Ginger
  • 1 nub Fresh turmeric
  • 2 cups Coconut Water
Optional Nutritional Boosters
  • 1 sachet Berry Banana Smoothie Booster Can sub for 1 heaping teaspoon of PureFood Women's A to Z or traditional A to Z

Instructions
  1. Peel the orange, lemon and ginger (I don't personally peel carrots) and add them to your high-speed blender with the coconut water.
  2. Blend until everything is smooth & enjoy! Tip: Buying organic produce for this smoothie is preferred but not necessary 🙂
